AT A GLANCE

The Sumi Soaker Mark II uses fine mist technology with an 80-degree spray angle to deliver gentle, uniform coverage for seedlings and delicate crops. Its rectangular spray pattern covers up to 13 feet wide (6.5 feet on each side), eliminating the dry spots common with circular sprinklers.

The Mark II operates at ultra-low pressure (12 PSI maximum), making it compatible with limited water systems. UV-resistant Japanese polyethylene construction delivers 10+ years of reliable service with minimal maintenance. The lightweight 11-pound design makes one-person setup easy, and cut-to-length flexibility with an adjustable sliding stopper lets you create custom configurations up to 328 feet long.

Genuine Sumisansui products made by Sumika Agrotech, Japan.

PERFECT FOR

The Mark II's steep spray angle sends water up and over rather than out to the sides, making it ideal for irrigating around the curved walls of low tunnels and over taller crops like mature lettuce or brassicas.

The ultra-gentle 0.20 inch/hour application rate prevents soil crusting and transplant shock in propagation houses, and the 13-foot coverage width matches standard 3-4 bed blocks for precise water management across succession plantings.

MARK II VS R-WIDE: WHICH ONE DO YOU NEED?

The R-Wide has a low 35-degree spray angle that throws water out to the sides—covering up to 33 feet total (16.5 feet per side) while staying under 8 feet tall. It's built for open-field production where you want maximum coverage with fewer lines.

The Mark II's steep 80-degree angle sends water up rather than out, covering 13 feet wide but reaching 6.5 feet high. This taller, narrower pattern clears the curved sides of caterpillar tunnels and gets water over the canopy of tall crops.

Choose the R-Wide for wide-open field beds. Choose the Mark II for tunnels, hoophouses, and anywhere you need to spray up and over.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  • Only the Sumi tubing. You will also need a Bed Add-On for each section.

INSTALLATION NOTES & TECH SPECS

  • The Mark II performs best at 12 PSI, with a flow rate of 7.1 gallons per hour per foot of tubing. Lower pressure or flow rate will reduce the coverage area.
  • You can use our Garden Hose Connector to connect your Sumi irrigation system to your garden hose.
  • Pressure above 12 PSI will damage the Sumi tubing. We recommend using a pressure regulator
